Meet Amber. She's an
approx. 1-2 year old red tick/cattle dog mix.
Amber was found as a stray with we believe is her baby Savannah who
also is a Rover Rescue dog. She's a
friendly, happy girl who seems to love everyone and gets along well with
other dogs. She has a beautiful
reddish orange/yellow spotted coat hence her name Amber. Amber was a volunteer favorite in the
shelter and they are sooooo happy she was picked to
come to Rover Rescue as her fate may have been sealed if she remained in the
shelter. But from what was heard from
the shelter volunteers, she's a beautiful, wonderful dog who deserves a
chance. UPDATE: After having Amber just a short time now I
have found her to be exactly what the shelter said about her. She always seems to have a smile on her
face and her tail is always wagging.
She is going to make a wonderful addition to an active family
regardless of age as she loves everyone, however she may be too much for
little children. She would make a
great jogging partner if you don't have a fenced yard or if you have some
older kids who need to burn off energy in a big yard. She loves other dogs, but she would also be
just fine alone with lots of toys to keep her busy. Amber acts at times like a puppy, but she's
housetrained. She's not demanding of
attention but loves to be petted. She
can have a high pitched bark, but she only occasionally uses those vocal
cords but like most female dogs, she has to get the last word in. She's only about 35 pounds so she's a nice
medium size dog. If you would like to
