What You Want to
Know
Casper
is a 2 ˝ year old, male, Miniature Pinscher. However, he may be a mix
because he’s a bit larger than the typical Min Pin at about 15 pounds. Casper
has been in a shelter for the past year (he was found as a stray), but he’s
adjusting quite well to life in a house with other dogs! Casper got his
name because he is quite timid at first but eventually friendly much like the
cartoon character, “Casper the Friendly Ghost.” He quickly acclimated
to the other dogs in my home (all medium-large females) but took a couple of
days before he approached me. But he has quickly become quite the
affectionate, bubbly, lap dog! Casper seems happiest when inside with
familiar people and his dog buddies. When let outside (in a fenced
yard) he quickly takes care of his business and wants back in again. He
is mostly housetrained and is fully crate-trained. Casper is very
comfortable in his crate, and will often go inside on his own to relax.
He would be a great addition to a quiet home and would even do well in a
townhome or apartment. Unfortunately, Casper is not fond of young
children, so he needs to go to a home without children under the age of 12.
He also needs time to feel comfortable around any new people, but once he
does, he is a complete doll! Casper is neutered and up-to-date on all
of his shots. His adoption fee is $175.
