What You Want to
Know
Meet Curley Joe, he's a approx. 4 year old poodle mix. He weighs 20
pounds and will not get any larger. This poor little guy was found as a
stray matted, and filthy. He was taken to the shelter where he got a
most needed bath and well a generic hair cut but that's ok, once his hair
grows in then he can get a good grooming and he will be
stunning, so that is something to consider, he will
need occasional groomings. I was told he
loves to be held and likes belly rubs. He gets along with the
other dogs here at his foster home and seems like just a nice little
friendly guy. Curley Joe is still new to Rover Rescue so I'll update
his information as I know him better like whether he's housetrained.
UPDATE: After having Curley Joe just a short time now, I
have found him to be almost housetrained, only a couple pee accidents,
but again he was a stray and he has now been neutered so shouldn't take much
to have this guy fully trained. I have also found him to be very
friendly and would much rather be with his favorite person than play with
other dogs, as a matter of fact, he'll head butt another dog trying
to squeeze in on his petting time, so I think he would much rather be the
only dog of the house so he can get all the attention. He will
make a great little friend for a single person looking for a furry
companion as he is really gets attached to mostly one person. Once his
hair grows back and he can get a really nice groom, he's going to be just
adorable. He has now been neutered and is up to date on his
