What You Want to
Know
Shane is an adorable 7
month old cattle dog mix looking for a new home. He is 50 pounds, up to
date on all of his shots and has been neutered. He is sweet, loyal and
extremely friendly towards other dogs. Did I mention smart?
In just the first 5 days after we adopted Shane, he learned to ring bells
attached to our door to let us know that he needed to go to the
bathroom. He knows simple commands, but can most certainly be trained
to learn much more. Shane is slightly skittish around very young
children so he would do best with a family with children over 10 or in
households without children. He would also love a large back yard
to romp around in. If you are looking for a smart, loyal guy to
stick by your side then Shane is the dog for you. We adopted Shane when my
wife was 6 months pregnant to be a companion to our other dog. Now that
the baby has arrived, we have sadly come to the conclusion that two dogs and
an infant is simply too much for us to handle and we can’t provide Shane with
the environment that he needs and deserves.
