What You Want to Know

Meet Toto. He is a male Pomeranian approximately 7-9 yrs old. He is a very sweet little guy. He spent the majority of his young life in a breeding facility. At some point in time; Toto suffered a broken jaw which the breeder failed to have treated and it was left to heal on its own. The lower portion of Toto’s jaw is permanently out of alignment with the top portion of his jaw. He has a significant under bite and his little tongue hangs out in the front. Despite the neglect, Toto is still able to eat without a problem. He enjoys wet food and snacks on dry kibble in between meals. He loves treats and even enjoys chewing on dried chicken jerky.
Toto has made a tremendous amount of progress. He is still extremely hesitant, but will stand still allowing you to pick him up. He does not go up or down a full flight of stairs and needs to be carried. He will need a home with a fenced yard and an experienced adopter. With continued love and patience, Toto will continue to thrive. Each day he learns more about the joys of being a dog. He is getting use to ear scratches, neck massages and being carried. He still has a lot to learn. He loves the company of other dogs and bonds instantly with four legged friends. He is crate trained and almost potty trained.
