What You Want to Know
Hi,
my name is Vin and I would like to introduce myself to you. I am approximately 1 year old and am a Pit-bull/Boxer
mix. I get along with dogs, kids and
adults. I am house broken although I
did mark a couple times in my foster home but seem to put that behind me now.
I sleep through the night in my foster family’s room. If left home currently I am not crated as I
have to wear a "the cone of shame" since my tail is healing from
surgery, but I've been good being out all day with cone on. I have what is called "Happy
Tail" and I'm just such a wiggle butt the sore on my tail wouldn't heal
so a portion of my tail had to be amputated, but no worries I'm still a big
old wiggle butt and it hasn't changed my spirit. I love to run outside and play
with my doggie foster brothers and sisters.
I have a medium energy level when playing with my doggie siblings. My current foster home does not have cats but
was told when I was at the shelter in Southern Indiana I saw cats and didn't
have a problem with them but not sure they were running around, so I would
need training if going to a cat household. I have no food or treat aggression. I really love attention and getting belly
rubs. I'm really good in the car, in
fact if no one is in the front seat I’d rather sit there and look out the
window, then I’ll just lay down when I’m done sightseeing. I'm pretty good about not jumping on people
but if I get excited I do give hugs so I'm not 100% and I’m pretty stocky and
strong so I would knock a smaller child over so I would need extra
supervision and training on how to show my love to little ones. I LOVE walks and am getting better every day
on the leash but I am quite strong, I don’t really pull but I do sway. I do know how to sit on command but will
need ongoing training to master other commands. I’m just an overall happy dog that loves to
make you smile and would do great with an active family that will provide me
with love, exercise, discipline and obedience training. My adoption fee is $175, if you'd like to
